Who wants to build their own astromech droid?
After showing last time the construction of the frame work, that is general used to build an astromech droid(see Astromech.net), an R2-D2 unit, it is time I talk further about the inner sides of the little fellow.
In the end, beside friend and assistent to make our life easier, it would be beautiful if the little droid can do the thinking of his own, otherwise it keeps depending on us for all kinds of little things, like movement etc. Maintenance on the droid will be necessary, but we would like him in the future to help us, to create bigger projects or other functions he can help in.
The latest to let the coverpart move has been done by an I-phone, but I prefer myself to put 3 homemade servers in it and use an internal network to do the magic. Still looking for a good programming partner, the servers should be able to create 3D programming.
3D programming works as follows and is a concept used already by server providers and is offered as service to clients, to store globally over several servers randomly the information and data, so it is hackerfree and it pulls it back into each other as a file or document, when requested and necessary using binary locks and codes. This was invented against hackers and viruses, so during an cyberattack not all data of the client will be lost and always can be recreated, even if by accident it is wiped away.
The 3 servers, shaped into a hollow half circle, so they can be placed in the droid, are connected to make an internal network, which through a plug in screen for the programmer is to see or for the maintenance, so flaws can be corrected. Each server has unique random codes stored from which the droid by observing can put together himself the right coding for actions and decisions he need to make and take. As each human brain organ the code will be randomly restored again, so diversity takes care, that the coding stays fresh and healthy and it becomes more difficult to get infected, if the droid through some alien network gets a virus or is involved by wireless cyberattacks. Also it gives the droid the opportunity to create from viruses and infections new code and make an anti-dote to create an immune system. It also could help with other functionalities and software/ hardware development to use this kind of programming into totally other kind of projects.
Further the servers, tools, gadgets and drivers and movement is powered first an a battery motor, that can be load up, but later should be replaced with an eternal nucleair motore or engine, another project I am involved with to brainstorm about mostly. In the Ukraine we have already the possibility with a small nucleair motor to create a small sun, but the expirements where calculated unsafe. So I created, as shown on my old blog before(the one that was deleted, but all info still available on request), a safe solution, how to control the solar flares and impact on its surrounding environment.
Well, in the end, what I believe, is that from the garbage I am making this little fellow, it should work out to become a reality, even if in the Star Wars saga's it was actually a radiocontrolled robot, not a droid. I think it is definitly the right age, where astromech droids can be introduced to ensist humanity and make New Technology and development faster.
