There are several types of earth:
1.Black earth
2.Brown earth
3.Sand
4.Kley
All four are shaped by loose broken elements and water.
The root however is black earth. Black earth is to find nowadays still in rainforest and jungle and for example old steppe fields and hills like in Ukraine and Russia.
This is the result of other elements on the cooled of magma fields, that turned by rainwater into dust and became black earth. Also the rain water did break down the basalt rock over ages and several kind of materials came out of that, like quartz, which is the basic of sand. Brown earth is again a mix of sand and black earth and kley is sand parts pressed under high volume together by water, which shapes different types of kley.
In our model we use atmosphere created by shaping water, to landscape the EARTH and together with the last element of WIND, which is born out of these atmospheres, you have the 4 basic elements for a planet able to create life.
