Nano-vivaria

Since last year I am growing from seed in 3 liter jampots orchids on old terracotta tiles with some moss and in 1 pot on an old grapevine Dendrophylax Lindenii, the Ghost orchid. All pots are closed and use circulated water, but there is small result yet, because i am only busy since it with last year. There the pots stand on a sunny spot in our farmhouse, the temperature stays stable and even -30 C freezing cold did not damage till now any seedling or root.

This came to me to the following person, who did invent a same way of growing through a system he did build on the old fashioned way I use it for vivaria plants and it is named by him nano-vivaria. It is an easy way to get even in city appartments beauty and nature in the house and use the nature in this case as alive art object, where small blossoms and green color switch with the natural tints of moss and terracotta. By implement of artificial light, a sunny spot is even not necessary and using closed containers made from plastic hard bottles, you can create a balanced growing envorinment. See the photo's to get inspired. :)
