After something does end, a new beginning will come...This is a truth also counting for a disaster like Saturn or any other devastating scenario, that wipes away large amounts of life. So was a new beginning of life, when the oceans did cover the Earth and Noah arrived at a new piece of land.
When a red dwarf giant and a white dwarf giant did grow a bit after eating Saturn, they fall back in hibernation and out of the white dwarf giant new planets are born and the red dwarf giant cools back of to a new planet. A new life cycle starts with new virgin planets and new virgin lands to be taken over by natural life. New Heavens will be created, maybe with the same kind of evolution or maybe this time with another one, depending on the circumstances life will be created and grow.
Also in case after the merging of a red dwarf giant and a white dwarf giant new life will start. This time with the birth of new stars and the reproduction of a new red dwarf and a new white dwarf, because possibility is that the old ones after merging will pass away.
Life always will find an answer and the pure always over wins the non pure. That is how our Universe and existence always was build and it will not be different ever.
When an old cycle ends, a new cycle begins, no matter which shape it takes.
