To structure new bones, DiAble DeVille first did start with the marrow and the channels for the blood vessels and nerves. To make good marrow, he used black earth clay as basic material and small pieces of paste, rolled as minuscules pieces of bone, made out of white clay, mixed with iron dust and sand dust. In it, he reworked the channels for nerves and blood vessels, but this will be explained in another chapter deeper, from which material it was made.Over that, he made a mix of "vabno"(a chalk mix), with white/ brown chalk clay, mixed with iron dust and worked it of with glue made from fish bones into the mixture. After modelling the bones,
he did make a fire and put sand to close it and in the hot sand, he hardened the bones, to get the right porous structure, to let the material breath. Than he prepared it with a mix of olive oil and pine wax, to be ready to attach the muscles later on it and put it in the cooler.
In the end is said, that humans are made from clay.It is what the prophets books said and DiAble DeVille did use that knowledge mixed with his knowledge of biology, so he was able to make for his love the finest legs and arms he could remember and make. Through it, his love would reach her heart, to be able to move again.
