From the old blog: The Princess and the tiger

Once upon a time, in old Malaysia, there was a kingdom in the deep jungle, which had a fair king and queen. The king was named the Lion of Siom and he had 2 lovely children. He was a beautiful ochre orange colored bengal tiger and his wife was a beautiful blue eyed white tiger and their cubs where a boy and a girl, both white as their mother.

The king was a fair ruler over all wildlife in the jungle and his kingdom overbordered the borders of the garden of the sultam of Malaysia, with whom he did live in peace.

The sultan had a daughter, who loved nature and always was to find in the garden of the palace and on the borders of the kingdom of the Lion of Siom.

One day, the girl baby tiger, named Pai, was wondering and playing with butterflies and arrived in the border area, where it was found by the beautiful young princess. It was love at first sight for them and they did play the whole day on. When the evening did fall, for both of them it was time to go home and the princess said to the little girl tiger: I'll be here tomorrow to play with you if you want, if you will be here too. The little girl tiger looked at the fair princess and went home. That night the baby girl tiger did dream about playing again the next day with the princess and had happy dreams.

The next morning the little tiger went back, however his mother told her not to go so close to the borders, because she was still little and who knows what could happen.
The little tiger did not listen however and indeed, the place where she did meet the fair princess, the girl appearred again. She said to her: Goodmorning little Star, how are you today? You came back to play and see, here I am. Like this for some time the princess and her little Morning Star did play everyday and a love relationship between the little tiger and the girl did develop.

One day there arrived foreigners to the sultans kingdom, spicetraders from britain. James, his wife and their daughter Victoria. Beside spices, James and his daughter were also known to be one of best world hunters and as soon as they did find out about the garden of the sultan connecting to the jungle, they tried to pursuide the sultan for a hunting party.
the sultan was hesitating first, but in the end did agree. And so it happened, that James and his daughter went to hunt into the kingdom of the Lion of Siom.

All animals, as soon as they understood, there was a hunting party going on, went to the king of Siom and told the horror that did occur. The Lion of Siom decided to take a look, when he and his family was discovered by James and his daughter. James shot the king of Siom and the Queen in all panic was looking for her 2 kids. It happened that at that moment the little tiger Pai came just back from playing with the princess and was closest by her mom and the son was further away.

A white tiger, Victoria said, that I would like as furcoat and the shooting began, so the Queen had to choose between her children, who to save first, so she went for Pai, who was closest by.
When Victoria did see the brother of Pai, she said, look, daddy, that one would be nice for near the fireplace. And so it happened.

After the hunting party was gone the mother of Pai was furious, hurt and in anger and rage. She did blame the sultan for this and she became a man-eater. She had a plan in her head though. She would educate her daughter to slaughter the daughter of the sultan as punishment, for disturbing the peace and slaughtering her family.

Ofcourse Pai did not want to and did run away towards the princess in tears and when arrived, the princess understood, the little tiger did not want to go back home and she did adopt the little tiger. Ah huge cage was build and everyday the princess did devote her time towards her white pet tiger.

After some years, James and his daughter came back to Malaysia, again for new spice trade and when walking in the garden of the sultan, they did see in the cage the grown up Pai, looking exactly like her mother. Oh daddy, Victoria said, how beautiful, it would look gorgeous on me.

James went to the sultan and asked how much the tiger did cost.
The sultan however did not agree to sell the pet tiger of his daughter, because he did know how much the tiger meant to her. James kept pushing, than the sultan said to them: Leave by this morning and don't let you see your face again.

James and Victoria were angered and they made a plan. In the night, before their departure, their was a full moon and they did kill Pai and skinned her and early in the morning left, never to be shown again.

The next day the princess went to see her biggest love, when she discovered her tiger was dead and skinned. She was so sad, that the same evening the princess did commit suicide.

The sultan was in grieve and however hurted by the lost of his daughter, he gave a last command to kill the mother of Pai, so the man-slaughter would stop, for she became a fervent man-eater.

Now, after death, all dead souls arrive in the land of the Death and there the princess did find back her tiger Pai. However dead, they were happy and played and played and played.

Until Pai noticed and did get the message from other dead souls, that her mother was on the way, so to be sure, that her princess was safe, she put her soul into a lamb.
After some time, when the mother did find Pai back again, she started to suspect, that something was wrong. After a long fight, the mother forced Pai to tell what happened to the soul of the princess, because she did understand what happened all. After finding out, that the soul of the princess was hidden inside of a lamb and Pai did not want to tell, which one, the mother took a soul of a Lamb and did put it into the body of her male husband and the soul of Pai into ones of a Lamb, not knowing, that she by accident did put the soul of the princess into the male tiger body.

After the mother did leave, Pai and the princess where in tears. Suddenly they were a tiger and a Lamb couple and they did decide to hide far away, to live their life together. The Princess in the body of the Lion of Siom did decide not to eat meat anymore and become vegetarian, so she would never accidently hurt her love, Pai, who was now became a Lamb.

It took many centuries, before the Lion of Siom ended up in the body of AbleDeVille and the soul of Pai into the body of his most loved Star. But that is another story...
